Greetings from the Chairman

The Department of Recreational Sports Management was established under the College of Business after the university was reorganized into the National Taipei University. The goal of the department is to cultivate candidates at the management level for sports clubs, country clubs and theme parks. By improving educational facilities on campus, hiring outstanding faculty, and recruiting excellent students, we have continuously met our departmental goals for the past two years.

Besides continuously hiring exceptional faculty holding doctoral degrees, we also encourage inter-collegiate exchange and support. We provide opportunities for students to have double majors, secondary emphasis or simply take various courses of their choice. Each student can take advantage of this based on their individual needs.
In addition to academic development, the department collaborates with outside companies and organizations to offer internships and other training for students. These programs help students apply their knowledge and gain practical experience in the real work force. 

A stimulating and diverse learning environment is one of the key factors in cultivating outstanding students. Therefore, the department places primary emphasis on faculty research and teaching effectiveness. Our hope is that our program prepares students with the skills and expertise so that after graduation they can serve society with the highest standards and promote better mental and physical health for all.
