The Taiwanese¡¦s demands for quality leisure life are increasing as people are getting wealthier and have more free time. Taiwan is becoming a developed country and its per capita national income has reached $12,000. Like developed countries, Taiwan has increased labor¡¦s weekly breaks to two days. It is important for government to guide people to plan their free time in order to maintain a healthy workforce and improve living quality. However, the Taiwanese have little knowledge of how to use their free time and the leisure industry is not well developed to fulfill current people¡¦s needs. Therefore, there is a strong need for leisure- and recreation-related talent to support the development of the leisure industry.
