 本期刊為學術性刊物,由國立台北大學犯罪學研究所主編,自第二期起改為半年刊,每年三、九月出版。歡迎國內外犯罪學、刑事政策、法律與社會問題等相關領域實徵研究與理論探討論文投稿。但已在他處發表之文稿恕不刊登(研討會論文不在此限)。

 著作人須於投稿時同意授權本刊得再授權國家圖書館『遠距圖書服務系統』或其他資料庫業者,進行重製、透過網路提供服務、授權用戶下載、列印、瀏覽等行為。並得為符合『遠距圖書服務系統』或其他資料庫之需求,酌作格式之修改。一人作者著作授權同意書作者二人以上著作授權同意書

一、稿件格式:

本刊徵稿文章類型包括:
(一)研究論文:原創性研究成果之正式論文(字數不超過二萬字)。
(二)研究紀要:開發特定議題或引發概念討論(字數不超過六千字)。
(三)書評:就國內外出版之學術專書所撰寫之評論(字數不超過一千五百字)。
來稿請寄一式三份以及著作授權同意書(請至臺北大學犯罪學研究所網站:www.ntpu.edu.tw/gradcrim網站下載填寫)。文長超過兩萬字、參考書目格式不符或未附著作授權同意書者恕不送審。稿件格式要求如次:
(一)首頁請註明中、英文篇名、作者姓名、職稱、聯絡電話、地址與電子郵件帳號。
(二)內文第一頁應註明篇名、五百字以內摘要、關鍵詞(以上均為中、英文並列,惟不諳中文之作者可免附中文摘要與關鍵字)。其後為正文與參考書目(參考書目格式請參閱本刊規定)。 

二、審查修正:

() 來稿刊出前須經正式之審查程序。論文由編輯委員會議委託兩名相關學者專家雙向匿名審稿,若兩名審查委員之意見不一,則另尋第三位審查委員再作審查,綜合三位審查委員意見,由編輯委員會做出是否刊登之決定。

() 凡經審查委員建議修改刊登者,請作者依建議事項在期限內修改後將檔案(MS Word 7.0或以上版本)回傳。超過期限視同作者自願放棄刊登。

三、版權

自第三期起,版權規定如次:

(一)經同意刊登之論文,作者須同意非專屬授權予出版單位做下述利用:

1.以紙本或是數位方式出版;

2.進行數位化典藏、重製、透過網路公開傳輸、授權用戶下載、列印、瀏覽等資料庫銷售或提供服務之行為;

3. 再授權國家圖書館或其他資料庫業者將本論文納入資料庫中提供服務;

4. 為符合各資料庫之系統需求,並得進行格式之變更。

(二)文稿經接受刊登之作者須同意出版單位得依其決定,以有償或無償之方式再授權予國家圖書館或其他資料庫業者。除無償合作之狀況外,出版單位應以本同意書所載任一連絡方式通知作者其再授權之狀況。

(三)作者須保證本論文為其所自行創作,有權為上述各項授權,且授權著作未侵害任何第三人之智慧財產權。本刊著作授權為非專屬授權,作者對授權著作仍擁有著作權。

(四)稿件一經採用,即致贈當期「犯罪與刑事司法研究」期刊五份,不另支付稿酬。

犯罪與刑事司法研究撰稿格式

Crime and Criminal Justice International
The journal is published in cooperation with the Graduate School of Criminology, National Taipei University, Taiwan, Republic of China. The previous volumes represent diverse research and analyses on criminology and criminal justice policies in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Mainland China, USA, the UK and other societies worldwide. It is a semi-annual (March and September), peer-reviewed publication that publishes a variety of articles in the field of criminology, victimology, policing, prosecution, sentencing, corrections, community treatment and other aspects of criminal justice policy.
All of the articles accepted will be subject to the copyright license agreement, starting from September 2004. At the time of first submission, the authors are required to offer their agreement to grant Graduate School of Criminology, National Taipei University to sublicense the READncl-Remote Electronic Access/Delivery of the National Central Library ("READncl System") or any other database provider to reproduce, transmit publicly by Internet, download, print and browse by authorized users. The submissions may be changed in order to meet the requirement of READncl System or other database.
1. Submission of manuscripts:
Categories of submission:
(1) Research Article: Original and previously unpublished research result; the main text should not exceed 20,000 words.
(2) Research Note: Critical discussion of scholarship on specific topic; the main text should not exceed 6,000 words.
(3) Book Review: Introduction to and critique of recently published books; the main text should not exceed 1,500 words.
Three copies double-spaced manuscripts should be submitted to the Journal Editorial Committee. Please include a note to the editor indicating the title of the article, name of author(s), each author’s affiliation, position, telephone no., address and e-mail address. The front page should include the title, an abstract of approximately 100 words, as well as key words, in both English and Chinese, unless the author’s first language is not Chinese (in such cases, the author is not required to provide above information in Chinese). The first page should contain the title, abstract, keywords, then the article. Papers submitted for publication should comply with our format guideline (see attached guidelines below or on website: http://www.ntpu.edu.tw/gradcrim/index_1.htm).
2. Review policies: all manuscripts are reviewed by two anonymous reviewers. If the reviewers’ comments disagree with each other, a third reviewer is called. The editorial committee reserves the final decision of publishing these articles.
3. Copyright: when submitting a draft, each author is required to provide a copyright license agreement:
(1) To grant a non-exclusive copyright license to allow the publisher to publish the ARTICLE by paper or digital format, digital archive, reproduce, transmit publicly by Internet, or authorize users to download, print, browse, or conduct other sales or service providing of database; grant National Central Library or other database providers a sublicense to collect the ARTICLE, for the purpose of service providing, in its database; change the format of the ARTICLE to meet the system requirement of each database.
(2) To agree that the PUBLISHER may in its sole discretion grant National Central Library or other database providers a sublicense whether or not the license fee is charged. Except the circumstances of free of charge, the PUBLISHER shall notify the Author the terms and conditions of such sublicense by any one of the connection methods as listed in the end of this Agreement.
(3) To warrant that the ARTICLE is an original work of the author’s, and the author has the right to grant all kinds of license hereinabove without any infringement of rights of any third party. This Agreement is a non-exclusive license, and the copyright of the ARTICLE still remains with the Author after executing this Agreement.
(4) If published, each contributor will receive 5 copies of the journal.

Format Guideline
※ new drafting format applies to all submission since volume 11 ※
1. Cover sheet should include the title, an abstract of approximately 100 words, as well as key words, in both English and Chinese, unless the author’s first language is not Chinese (in such cases, the author is not required to provide above information in Chinese). The first page should contain the title, abstract, keywords, then the article. Papers submitted for publication should comply with our format guideline. Manuscripts should be type-written, double-spaced in 12 New Times Roman.
2. Type the references double-spaced, using Chicago Style. A few examples follow, but consult the Chicago Style Guide (http://www.chicagomanualofstyle.org/tools_citationguide.html) for further examples:
