Library |

| |
The Main Library, established early in 1951,
has a long history of 50 years. There are about 260, 000 volumes in
storage including the Chinese or foreign languages. Currently, there
are more than a thousand journals and periodicals available: most
of which are on the topics of laws, business administration and social
science. The Main Library is characteristic of keeping a huge accumulation
of law-related books, from the U.S., Germany and Japan. Besides, Regulations
and case study volumes from the U.S. Federal Court are also available.
As the information era is approaching, the Main Library has been
electronicalized. Recently, owing to the fast developing of network
facility, a lot of library information has been made in electronic
frame. To provide service for database searching and distance teaching,
an electronic database searching area is set up in the library and
the library has become a member of CONCERT (the Consortium On Core
Electronic Resources in Taiwan). The major purpose of the Library
is providing readers the most complete and updated information for
teaching and researches. To this end, all employees of the library
are devoted to enriching facilities, updating equipments, and increasing
service items. For detail service information, readers are welcome
to browse the website of library.
The branch library in Commerce Building, Distance Teaching Center
and Library-Information Building (the landmark of the university
)on San Shia Campus will be completed gradually. At that moment,
we hope that the NTPU will be a topnotch university and win a worldwide
reputation.
