Graduate Institute of Chinese Bibliography & Textual Criticism

The Institute aims to cultivate talent for researching and sorting
Chinese Classical Literature in the new century. The key points of the
institute's curricula design are:

Ⅰ. Foundation courses for sorting ancient books, including traditional
theoretical subjects like Chinese philology, bibliograhpy, study of
edition, and textual criticism;

Ⅱ. Case studies of literature sorting, including case studies and
sorting works related to Dunhuang Studies, literature of Chinese
Documents of East Asia, Gazetteer reviews, archivistics, folk culture,
study of serial books, literature of philosophy history, notebooks of
generations, Taiwan literature;

Ⅲ. New Studies in Contemporary Literature-digitalization and sorting of
ancient books, including courses on studies of reference books on
literature, history, and philosophy, utilization and development of
electronic literature, and practice.

The main development direction of the Institute is to combine theories
and teaching with special subject research, and establish academic exchanges
and cooperation with the National Central Library, and other research
institute and education organizations. The Institute is also activity developing
the digitizing of the traditional cultural heritage works.
